This is a report of 4 cases of the islet cell tumors of the pancreas which were treated and experienced at the Department of General- Surgery, National Medical Center in Seoul, Korea from May, 1961 to Apr, 1971.
These patients were complained of the generalized malaise, weakness, epigastric pain & discomfort.
On physical examination, a various sized palpably mass on mid or left epigastrium, and the epigastric tenderness were noted. Otherwise were relatively normal.
The abnormal findings of the laboratory and radiologicfiled were represented. The operatation was done under the impression of the retroperitoneal tumor (pancreas) and the pathological diagnosis was the ilet cell tumors of the panrsceas.
